One of my favorite spots in Decatur mainly due to the staff. The shop is small so there’s limited seating. Bagels are a hit so come early if you want the best pick. I always go with the Lox Bagel and a seasonal coffee ☕️

The staff was personable and efficient. I arrived right just as it was starting to get busy. The line moved quickly - either that or I lost track of time looking at all the baked goodies on display. My food was delicious - I highly recommend! The only downside is parking. I parked in the public parking area behind the cafe and when I scanned the QR code it wanted to charge me $16 for 1 hr on a Saturday morning! There is street parking but I didn't see any spots when I arrived. That won't stop me from visiting B-Side again though - I'll just be patient and take my time to look for other parking alternatives.

This quiche is truly amazing! They also offer excellent meat pies, and there are vegetarian options available. The pastries are consistently delicious, and I often take an extra one home with me. The staff is friendly, and the coffee is outstanding, especially given the city's reputation for exceptional coffee.

Finally got to try the famous B-Side Bagels! Nested in Decatur Square, this particular venue is surrounded by lots of greenery, both from the plants outside and from the vividly green decor inside. I didn’t realize this place is also the “sister” bakery of the next-door The Deer and the Dove; that speaks very highly of this venue given the coveted Michelin-recommended status the restaurant itself has. Since B-Side is infamous for selling out of bagels quickly, it was my fault coming in late on a sunny weekend day. As a result, I was left ordering The Veggie on a Sea Salt Bagel. Although not my first bagel choice, the various fillings packed into this predefined vegan sandwich option had a delightful flavor profile! And, as any bagel sandwich is, this was perfectly filling. 10/10 would recommend this place! I would love to return (much earlier in the day) to try the Everything Bagel and their coffee - my friend’s Iced Lavender Latte was phenomenal!

The bagels here are seriously top-notch—I toasted them at home and made my own schmear, and they were absolutely perfect. I especially loved the everything bagel flavor—super flavorful and satisfying. The service was fine—nothing to rave about, but no complaints either. My biggest gripe? Having to pay $7.50 to park for less than 10 minutes. That definitely stung. Street parking might be a cheaper option, but that’s if you can even find a spot. Still, the bagels are worth it. Just plan ahead for parking and get there early if you want your pick of flavors—they do sell out!

Fantastic cafe and bakery located in Decatur Square. Owned by the same team as Deer & Dove. The smell of bagels and pastry enveloped the restaurant. Practically every table had a bagle. There were plenty of pastry options and refrigerated sides. This place got pretty busy. There were limited tables and some seats along the bar. We went for an early lunch and enjoyed the chopped cheese and reuben sandwiches. The bread on both sandwiches were aromatic and toasted well. The potato soup-of-the-day was a comforting side. The chocolate chip cookie had a classic taste. We asked a staff member to make their go-to drink for us. We really enjoyed the Golden Yunnan tea with oat milk and simple syrup. Would get again!!

B-Side Coffee in Atlanta is a gem! Fresh-baked goods, an open kitchen experience, and a warm, welcoming community vibe. They’re super flexible with substitutions, and the whole process is just fun. A must-visit breakfast spot!

I have been wanting to try this place for a while! I got here a little later in the day so there was not much to choose from by way of baked goods. I grabbed a pistachio scone and a peach matcha. The matcha itself was a little on the bitter side but the peach syrup they make was delicious paired along side it and balanced it a bit. The pistachio scone was excellent. I will definitely be coming back. Everyone here was so nice! I’m happy to see fresh businesses like this in Downtown Decatur.

We stopped by B-Side in Decatur and had such a great experience. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming — perfect for an easy morning or casual hangout. I had the café au lait, which was smooth and perfectly balanced, and the bagel with egg and bacon was absolutely amazing. Simple, done right, and incredibly satisfying. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Great coffee, great food, and a cool neighborhood feel. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Decatur.

This is a busy coffee shop that has sandwiches and pastry. I had an "Anti Gyro" Sandwich. I honestly enjoyed it. I love Gyros, and this new twist wasn't disappointing. It had Falafel balls which were not fried crisp, but softer and very favorable. There was a generous amount of greens and onions along with a tasty sauce My cappuccino was also good. The set up.makes good use of the space. The tables offer privacy for computer and email work. This business is handicapped friendly. I was able to maneuver to the rest room with my walker easily. There is a small table in the front that worked fine for my walker,but may be a little tight for a wheelchair This is very well maintained business. No debris on the floor. And the rest room was very well kept. The staff is professional and accommodating. They take your name and announce your order is ready. With a prime location at the Downtown Decatur Marta they diffinetly get the assignment. Save this place. I highly recommend
